Tip: This issue is very common if you install plugins with Final Cut Pro X open, so it's recommended that you close FCP to prevent this.
First close FCPX, restart your computer and open FCPX again.
Most of the time just by doing that will solve this.
If not, follow the steps bellow, please.
Follow these steps:
- Close Final Cut Pro X
- Open Font Book;
- Go to the edit menu and select "Look for Enabled Duplicates" or press cmd L;
- Click Resolve Manually
- Check the box Resolve duplicates by moving duplicate font files to the trash;
- Click Resolve All Duplicates and click ok;
- Close Font Book and Open Final Cut Pro X again.
This process should solve this issue.
In your Font Book is very important that you don't have any duplicated fonts, even if they are off. Just delete them. One font can cause conflict with another one.
